I gave this one star rating because I cannot give it lower. This person and his workforce are not professioal tradesmen. From day one asked for money then every second day. Continually contradicted what he had said or written, if you wish to tell lies then you have to have a good memory, he does not seem to possess this. He used subcontractors to build a wall and I just found out he didn't pay them. Job was quoted as 2 to 3 weeks, eventually I gave him an untimatum to complete by end of the month and leave whether he was completed or not. Works under Acorn and Sts Propertie Services. Unless you wish to micromanage the project from day one then I suggest you look for other quotes.

Carried out a landscaping job for us in June 2023, which was to remove and kill a tree, prepare ground for weed control membrane to go down and lay gravel, job was carried out promptly with good communication, unfortunately since then, the tree has started to regrow and grass and weeds are appearing everywhere, communication with Acorn has not been good ever since I made contact regarding the issues to rectify the problem, I have been visited and told they would be round within the week, to date I am still waiting. To begin with the quality ok work was good, now with all these issues and communication problems, we feel left out of pocket, the quality of work is definitely not what was stated, as they promised low maintenance and it's not the case.

Response time for quote was very quick - Stephen took on board my request and quoted a very fair price. At my agreement of price he came back quickly with a start date which was sooner than I anticipated- team came and did a great job in 3/4 days - very efficient, cleaned up after. Stephen and crew get my rating as affordable and professional- would recommend *****
