We consider work throughout Norfolk.

WHAT DO WE DO?
As the name suggests, we primarily maintain gardens. Usually, this involves tidying up, mowing the lawn, weeding, trimming a hedge, and pruning a few shrubs. But there are many other jobs a garden can bring forth – pressure washing a patio, installing or fixing a fence, various outside painting work and the larger labour-intensive jobs that involve digging and the complete overhaul of an overgrown, neglected garden!

ABOUT US
We established Simpson Garden Maintenance in 2008. We are a team of two, but we can work alone.

Dominic began working outside in his teenage years. He maintained the neighbours' gardens. He is also very handy and knowledgeable with other indoor and outdoor work, such as fencing, painting, assembling and installing furniture, shelving, and light building projects. It is fair to say that Dominic prefers to work with his hands. Please speak to Dominic regarding any hard landscaping work.

Adam has a background in art and design, working full-time as a graphic designer for four years, eventually becoming self-employed and developing this gardening business alongside graphic design work. He also studied a horticulture course at Capel Manor College.

LAWNS
We do not create new lawns, but we can try to maintain existing ones.
Trouble-free lawns require regular care. If you can not do this, either accept its faults or install artificial turf. As we do not make weekly visits, please also consider the services of a specialist lawn company.

OTHER:
▪︎ We can not promise to do something unless we have seen it.
▪︎ We are not qualified tree surgeons, but we can prune trees within a reasonable height if you like.
▪︎ At the end of our first visit to a new customer, we require somebody to be present and make payment by cash or online transfer.

PRICES
SPRING/SUMMER PRICES: £25.00 per hour per person (£50.00 per hour for two people)

AUTUMN (NEW CLIENT) OFFER: Two gardeners for a two hour tidy up: £80.00.


QUOTES
We prefer hourly rates for general garden maintenance, but we can offer a quote for some jobs.

DISPOSAL
We charge extra to dispose of your garden waste: £35 per 3ft x 3ft bulk bag or priced according to how full it is (£17.50 for half-full).
Individual full black garden waste bags are £3 each.
