Lumley Tree Services is a local company small enough to care about every job we do. We want to make sure your tree and hedge work is just how you like it. For those more complicated jobs we can help advise on the options and let you understand what the finished work will be before you are happy to go ahead with your plans.
We do this right across the North East.
Although we are a small local company I have worked in many large arboriculture organisations at operative, climber, team leader and manager levels. This includes working with domestic and commercial clients. I really enjoy helping clients find the right solutions to their tree and hedge considerations. We have built an exceptional standard and excellent reputation. All our work is fully insured and carried out by NPTC trained, assessed and qualified staff.
I work with the best local climbers and arboriculture operators in the region. All of them I have worked with over a number of years. I am able to pick the best people in this work due to my previous wide range of work in this sector over the last decade. I am even luck enough to employ both of my sons on a part time basis around their other working commitments.

At Lumley Tree Services we offer comprehensive tree services, including tree pruning, crown thinning, lifting and reductions, tree removal, stump grinding, emergency tree works and a wide range of hedge trimming and maintenance. As well as tree and hedge planting.

Due to some tree’s having Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) in place or conservation area restrictions, the appropriate requirements need to be checked prior to the work being carried out. We carry out all necessary local authority checks and can help you understand your options and how to progress permissions with local authorities where required.
