For sale needs repairs for mot, Runs great, on SORN, needs some cab steps & sills type welding for Mot. She’s a good solid old builders truck and never let me down. Been sitting idle in yard for last two years.

HISTORY: 2 Owners,
Brought in 2014 (via broker) direct from Barnsley Council, it was a Parks Maintenance Vehicle.
Covered less than 30’000 miles by me in over a decade, running around locally as a general builders truck. My partner’s health declined in 2022, full time caring for her now and it’s been parked in the yard hardly been used since. Only done 324 miles since 2023! So it needs to be put back to work as plenty life left in her yet.

MOT ran out in Nov 2024 and it’s just been sat, doing it no favours obviously. Taken for a fresh MOT on 24/08/25, for failure list see photos, nothing insurmountable, cab welding in the usual sills & steps areas, few bushes, and some tlc. I have no time or energy for sorting her out, the yards gone & I won’t be going back to building any time soon, so she needs to go!

GOOD POINTS.
- [ ] It’s a tough Iveco daily, if you know you know!
- [ ] Only covered 100,124 miles, good strong low mileage engine.
- [ ] Huge rear springs 11 leaf’s fitted by Wembley Springs. You can’t squash em even when fully loaded.
- [ ] Brand new, bespoke high quality custom built 3m steel/alloy rear bed & bulkhead, by the exceptional Ellis & Son vehicle Builders ltd. 3/4 yrs old hardly used in truck bed terms, cost over £4000, it’s worth buying the truck for alone I’d say!
- [ ] Super Solid Underbody tipper ram, overhauled whilst at Ellis’s, never an issue.
- [ ] New Yuasa battery last year.
- [ ] Couple of new tires for mot last time.


BAD POINTS:

- [ ] Very tatty, faded paintwork, scuffs bumps and bruises, bangs, knocks tears and scrapes. She’s an “old work truck!” Well used but still plenty life, if that’s what you need then it’s for you.
- [ ] Obviously needs the cab welding work, fairly simple for the right person.
- [ ] Could naturally do with a full service, wipers, brake overhaul from sitting so long, probably due cam belt change etc. all service stuff if you’re keeping it. A good tidy up.
- [ ] Rear seats were removed for internal tool & material storage.
- [ ] MOT stuff; indicator stalk: is a loose connection I think, rear door lock: catch mechanism comes off, it does open was just locked when it went in (I used to use a screwdriver to lock and unlock it!), various running gear bushes, superficial surface corrosion is has come from being sat in the yard for two yrs unused, & seat belt webbing not sure it’s that bad tbh, can’t see any major issue??? Near side tyre: one of the twin wheels is flat: Not sure as it had air and was fine when I parked it up and SORN last year. Could do with a couple of new ones on that side tbh…. But there’s ur to-do list for an Mot. (Days Garage Edenbridge are happy to re-test with fixes done 👍🏻)

I’m thinking £2000 a fair price based on the rear bed being worth that alone! If no-one wants to take her on, then I’ll likely “part out” anything worth instant money and scrap the rest, however it would be a real shame, and id rather not! as it’s been a super reliable solid truck for me for more than a decade, needs some tlc and somone willing to take it on, for the right person with skills, will be on its feet and back to work in no time.

I’ve literally run the jet wash over it, taken some photos and posted it for sale… it’s a good solid cheap truck for someone. So versatile & It would pay for itself in the first few jobs…
