Role Title: Technical Planning Manager
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid- 3 days in office mandatory)

The Technical Planning Manager is responsible for managing a large complex plan to urgent timescales, working as part of a large programme team. No candidates will be considered to be put forward unless they have proven experience of creating and managing plans of more than 10k rows with a high number of dependencies in Microsoft Project.
Essential Skills:
Proven track record of managing the plan for large complex projects/programmes and ensuring that the plan stays on schedule working with numerous stakeholders.
Accountability for plan quality. Very strong attention to detail required.
Confident and assertive to hold other managers accountable for delivery to plan.
Strong planning and organisation skills.
Strong dependency management.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
Good understanding of technical language and solutions (sufficient level for managing a technical plan).
Positive and proactive team player working as part of a large programme.Desirable skills:
Experience of working with global teams.
Experience of PAM tools
