Senior Software Developer (C++)

Location: Theale with hybrid working

Salary £50-55k pa

Hague has grown significantly over the years we now have a new opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join the team.

Key Purpose of the Role:

To design, develop, and support software applications that meet business and customer needs, including new web and desktop solutions and enhancements to existing systems. The role includes troubleshooting, installations, upgrades, and contributing to ongoing improvements while staying current with technology and ensuring compliance with company standards

Person we are Seeking:

It is essential that you are highly proficient in C++ Windows desktop/server applications – if you are then please read on.

In addition to the required C++ experience, you can offer us solid experience of the following:

C# and the .NET FrameworkHTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQueryRelational databases and MS SQL Server
Essential personal attributes required:

A current UK driving license is preferred.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Analysing user requirements and designing, developing, and launching new software and web applications.Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing software projects, identifying any areas for improvement.Writing, testing, refining, and maintaining high-quality code across various platforms and languages.Creating technical specifications, developing test plans, and carrying out system testing and fault finding.Performing installations, upgrades, and delivering training where required.
