It Technician

Description

This growing IT business is looking for an experienced IT technical engineer to join them. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a passion for technology, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

This position will be both office and field based and you will require a full UK driving licence.

Working with a variety of clients you will be responsible for:

* Installing and configuring IT services - including network, servers and phone services

* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in line with company SLA's

* Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software queries

* Conduct regular system backups

* Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency

* Document processes, carry out audits and manage fault cases

Experience

* Proven experience in an IT engineering role or similar position.

* Experience in operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

* Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Confident in managing multiple projects.

* You will need a full UK driving licence and be confident attending site for meetings and to carry out work.
