Description
SDL Solutions Limited is seeking an IT Support Technician for a school near Watford, you will a reliable, pro-active, and diligent individual to join their highly valued IT Support team within an education setting.
The primary responsibility of this position will be managing the IT ticket helpdesk and providing end-user support to around 200 staff and 600 students. The candidate will also manage a wide range of IT systems, and core infrastructure including Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace, and JAMF. You will maintain the 1:1 device scheme and support staff and students in using all software and hardware required.
Qualifications
• GCSE Maths and English,
• Certifications in IT 1st line support (desirable)
• High class degree in a relevant subject (desirable)
Experience
• Experience working in a similar role with a school, college or education institute
• Excellent understanding of school IT systems.
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft, Google, and Apple products - Active Directory & Group Policy, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, and Microsoft 365 admin tools.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical errors
• Experience in dealing with customers
