Description
The IT systems within our client’s architects firm are critical to their ongoing operations, including operational management, communications, data storage (including security/access), and design functions.
The Apprentice’s role is to coordinate this work and to recognise and escalate support to the IT Manager as and when necessary.
KEY DUTIES –
* Provide technical support to end-users, both in person and remotely
* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software
* Implement security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems
* Assist with network administration tasks, including setting up user accounts and permissions
* Work together with other managers and directors in relation to IT and IoT (Internet of Things) matters
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* Good written and oral communication skills
* Self-Motivated
* Meets the eligibility below
ELIGIBILITY
* Living in Devon County Council region.
* Employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months.
* Have the right to live and work in the UK.
* Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop.
