Job Title: Field IT Technician

Location: Remote, with travel to Cobham (Head Office) and sites across Surrey (mainly), Kent & North London

Job Type: Part-time (22.5 hours/week) - Flexibility provided on days

Salary: £16,200 – £18,000 (£27,000 – £30,000 FTE)

About The Role

We are proud to be working exclusively with a leading and growing residential care provider to recruit a Field IT Technician. This is a remote-based role supporting a portfolio of later living communities. You’ll deliver first-line IT support, provide hands-on troubleshooting during scheduled site visits, and manage a range of IT services, including hardware, software, and cloud systems. Travel is required to Cobham (head office) and locations including Mill Hill, Sidcup, Leatherhead, Woking, Ewell, Godalming, with further sites opening soon in Hampton Court and Banstead. Occasional out-of-hours support may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to and manage IT support tickets via phone and email

Deliver first-line remote support and escalate complex issues when necessary

Conduct site visits for break-fix diagnostics, hardware installation, and maintenance

Administer Office 365, SharePoint, MFA, email accounts, and backups

Maintain IT equipment, including laptops, PCs, printers, and phones

Perform routine system checks and troubleshooting

About You

1–2 years’ experience in an IT support role

Proficient with Windows 10/11, Office 365, SharePoint, and MFA

Understanding of basic networking (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS)

Skilled in fault-finding and hands-on hardware repair

Full driving licence and willingness to travel

Able to manage multiple priorities and respond flexibly to business needs
