Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote (Occasional Travel to London Required)

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: £435 per day - Umbrella Only

Clearance: Active SC Clearance Preferred (SC Eligible Candidates Will Be Considered)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline development, and container orchestration, along with current or eligible SC security clearance. This is a remote role with occasional travel to London.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Implement and maintain container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)

Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement resolutions

Ensure security and compliance across cloud and on-premise environments

Work closely with development teams to accelerate and improve release cycles

Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

Write and maintain scripts using Bash and/or Python

Set up and manage monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

Maintain strong understanding of networking, system administration, and security best practices

Requirements

Proven experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role

Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker

Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools

Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Active SC clearance preferred; SC eligible candidates will be considered

Additional Information:

This is an umbrella-only contract engagement

Candidate must be based in the UK

Role is remote with occasional travel to London
