Role Overview

The company is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to contribute to the deployment and maintenance of a federated, multi-service Data & AI platform. The focus will be on secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure, governance implementation, and enabling advanced data services.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven expertise in Terraform for Azure infrastructure as code

Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, especially using GitHub Actions

Experience with Azure Private Link and Private Link Service

Proficiency in Databricks and Unity Catalog for data governance

Familiarity with Azure Policy and compliance enforcement

Solid background in identity and access management, including OAuth and federated credentials

Deep knowledge of Azure security best practices (e.g., Defense in Depth, BCDR, high availability)

Experience in Azure cost management and optimisation strategies
