Data Governance Lead Contract Job Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Data Governance Lead to join on a contract basis and take ownership of turning a paper data governance strategy into a fully operational framework.
You'll bring proven experience of implementing data governance frameworks from scratch and have the ability to shape strategy into practical solutions, embedding policies, processes, and ownership across teams.
Location: You must be UK based but the work is mainly Remote
Duration: 3-6 months
Rate: £570 per day (Outside IR35)
Start: ASAP
KeyDeliverables:
Define and deliver a Data Governance Framework approach
Develop and implement new policies and procedures
Update and embed the data ownership model with operational teams
Establish and lead a Data Governance Forum
Implement a data issue management process Requirements:
Strong background in data governance
Demonstrable experience of having implemented a data governance framework previously
Experience of delivering a DAMA based framework would be preferable
Proven ability to translate strategy and policy into operational delivery
Hands-on understanding of data processes, ownership, and governance best practice
