Configuration Engineer

Description

Are you a pro-active and enthusiastic professional with experience in Configuration Management? Our client is looking for someone to work with SAP 500 to progress and agree modifications, interfacing with stakeholders across various business functions to discharge Configuration Management processes and activities. You will own the responsibility for achieving accurate configuration data from the point of requirement identification, definition, design through to operational implementation, ensuring the integrity of the product design.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the achievement of configuration deliverables, including configuration management plans and other documentation

Manage and monitor change requests and change collectors, ensuring timely progression from initiation to operational implementation

Deliver Configuration Management reports and management information, including status reports, KPIs, and trackers

Act as the point of contact at internal and external customer meetings

Provide technical support to functional areas to control the modification state of the product and its support equipment

Job Requirements:

Knowledge of, or experience in, configuration management principles and processes

Proficiency in SAP

Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload

Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills

High concern for detail and quality

High degree of IT literacy, particularly in Excel and Power BI
