Description
Job Title: Calypso Java Developer
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Threadneedle Street, London (4 days per week onsite)
Salary/Rate: Up to £600/day INSIDE IR35
Job Type: 12 month contract - very likely to extend
Company: Global software consulting - joining the financial arm of the business
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineers to join the team to work on implementing solutions on expanding/enhancing the trading capabilities of the Calypso platform to support the planned business growth in Europe. As part of our team, you will contribute towards the future strategy and technology direction of our products, implement and maintain high quality code to best practices, take part in capacity planning and design activities, and work with colleagues within FI & Derivatives team and beyond to help deliver best-in-Class systems.
Qualifications:
* Undergraduate Degree
* Strong Java Developer needs to have experience designing/building distributed applications, JVM tuning, multi-threading
* Strong Calypso Experience
* Capital Market Knowledge
* Trade Management
* SQL Knowledge / Oracle DB
* Linux (RedHat)
* MQ
* Ability to work a hybrid model
