Description

Job title – 2nd Line Technical Support Analyst

Location – London, SE1 (5 days in office)

Contract – Temporary, 3-Month Full-Time

Start Date – Asap

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident and experienced 2nd Line Technical Support Analyst to join a busy service delivery team on a full-time, onsite basis for a 3-month assignment.

This role involves providing responsive and professional 2nd line technical support across desktop systems and devices, while occasionally covering the service desk as needed to maintain service levels. You’ll be part of a customer-focused team delivering reliable support to users, including VIPs, across a variety of IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd line support and escalate complex incidents as needed

Resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLAs

Deliver high-quality technical support and maintain customer satisfaction

Support hardware and software installations, changes, and patching

Manage new starter/leaver setups and change requests

Update asset records and ensure accurate documentation

Cover service desk operations when required

Support project delivery and contribute to wider IT initiatives

Ensure compliance with IT security policies and proceduresSkills & Experience Required:

Proven 2nd line desktop support experience

Strong customer service approach with excellent communication skills

Ability to work to SLA targets, manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

Comfortable working with VIP users and providing a high-touch service

Experience supporting desktop environments, hardware, and software rollouts

Good understanding of IT security best practice

Able to document activity and update asset/incident records accurately
