2nd Line Support Engineer

Teddington

Up to £40k

MSP Experience essential

We’re looking for a dynamic and technically capable 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our clients growing IT support team in Teddington. This role is perfect for someone with strong MSP experience who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and wants to work with the latest Microsoft cloud technologies.

You’ll be supporting a wide range of clients across various sectors, providing advanced support, resolving incidents, and ensuring systems remain secure, efficient, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 2nd line technical support to clients across a range of devices and services

* Troubleshoot issues related to networking, hardware, applications, and infrastructure

* Manage and resolve tickets in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

* Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive

* Administer and support Google Workspace

* Support and manage Azure AD, including user administration, conditional access, and group policies

* Configure, deploy, and maintain devices using Microsoft Intune (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)

* Monitor and remediate alerts from Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other security tools

* Assist in asset management, device compliance, and endpoint health checks

* Provide both remote and desk-side support for end users

* Contribute to system improvements and process efficiency

* Work directly with clients to improve infrastructure and implement best practices

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment

* Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft 365 (administration & support), Google Workspace, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Defender security suite

* Hands-on experience managing and supporting Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices

* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across infrastructure, networking, and applications

* Experience monitoring firewalls and security events

* Comfortable supporting users remotely and on-site

* Hardware builds

Desirable:

* Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, AZ-104, MD-102)

* Experience with Autopilot and device provisioning

* Scripting experience (PowerShell) is a plus
