Job Specification: 2nd Line IT Engineer (One-Day Contract)

Location: Head Office, PO15 7FN, Southampton Date: Friday, 15th August Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Rate: £160 for the day Contract Type: One-Day Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 2nd Line IT Engineer for a one-day engagement at our head office. The role involves installing and configuring new PCs and conference monitors using Windows Autopilot, ensuring a smooth setup for end users.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure 2 new PCs and conference monitors

Use Windows Autopilot to set up user profiles

Assist users with login and mailbox setup

Re-add old mailboxes for users if required (simple credential input)

Ensure devices are fully operational and connected

Requirements

Proven experience in 2nd Line IT Support

Strong knowledge of Windows Autopilot and device provisioning

Familiarity with Outlook mailbox configuration

Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues on-site

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Head Office: PO15 7FN

Devices: 2 PCs/laptops registered to customer

Setup time per device: Typically 1-2 hours depending on connectivity
