This Holden Rodeo vehicle was manufactured by ISUZU in Japan and marketed in Australia under the GM-Holden brand for marketing reasons, but it is actually an ISUZU Faster, a precursor to the popular D-Max. It is an excellent 4X4 vehicle that I brought back for a project in France, but my plans have changed.
Its powerful 3.2L V6 engine (140Kw / 188hp / 9CV) in a 4X4 configuration makes it a very capable and practical workhorse with its aluminum platform and extended roof rack, tow hitch, tool box and 5-seater interior.
This model has proven itself in a country with notoriously demanding conditions where its commercial success has matched the sales of the Toyota Hilux.
This pickup has been pampered throughout its lifetime and is in excellent condition in and out. Its mechanic, bodywork, interior and exterior are impeccable and in its original condition. Maintenance is current, the timing belt was recently replaced, the 'All-Terrain' tires are new, as is the battery with nothing to spend. This vehicle’s reliability is legendary. It is infinitely robust and capable of lasting 500-800,000 km or more. Repairs are easy, and parts are widely available.
175,000 miles on the odometer, but it really doesn't show with still plenty to give. Service booklet since new. RHD suited to UK driving, manual gearbox. Shall easily pass the MOT.
