A large, well-appointed private estate near Oxfordshire seeks a professional, family-orientated Housekeeper to join their team. The role requires a proactive, discreet individual with exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for maintaining a warm, well-run home.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily housekeeping across all areas of the property, maintaining high standards at all times
Expert care of fine linens, wardrobe management, and laundry (including delicate and specialist items)
Household organisation, including stock rotation, pantry oversight, and occasional errands
Supporting the family’s day-to-day routines with a flexible, service-first approach
Liaising with other household staff and external contractors as required
Occasional assistance with light food prep or table setting for informal family meals
Pet sitting
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within a private household or luxury hospitality setting
Confident driver with a clean UK driving licence
Strong laundry and wardrobe care skills, including ironing and seasonal rotation
Warm, child-friendly disposition with a natural ability to support busy family life
High level of discretion, reliability, and initiative
Right to work in the UK
