It was a great relief that I could talk to someone who was really understanding and empathetic to my situation, and who could help without being pushy. That person was Susan. Thank you Susan for putting various carers in the frame for me to talk too, and for coming up with the perfect solution. My Mum, who is 95, has Alzheimer's and mobility issues is now cared for 24/7, and I, after many years of caring am having some guilt free life.

We’ve just used 24 Recruitment Chichester to fill a somewhat last-minute live-in care need. Having made contact on Friday Susan arranged for us to conduct a number of video interviews, with her in attendance, on Saturday (as if it were a mid-week request!). We were presented with a number of very different candidates, one of whom we felt was perfect, and by the end of Saturday we had an Agreement to sign. And the service didn’t stop there; even at this late stage I requested a change to the agreement before I signed. Susan understood my need, amended and forwarded a new document to sign on Sunday. Our live-in carer starts Monday.
Now I don’t suggest you try the same, it may not work out in 3 days – we have to admit we were lucky! But throughout the process Susan was proactive, organised, flexible and a pleasure to work with, and we thank her for all those attributes.
We have to accept that carers do sometimes, for any number of reasons, come and go. The next time we need a new live-in carer we won’t hesitate to return to Susan at 24 Recruitment Chichester for the introductions.
