HGV 2 Driver

Description

The Best Connection Reading are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for a temporary to permanent role with one of the UK's largest and most well-established distribution operations, based in Reading.

Key information:

Monday to Friday (NO WEEKENDS).

Weekend shifts available if you wish to work (OT Paid)

Early starts between 4.30am and 5.30am.

Pay rate - £16.16 per hour. OT rate - £24.24 per hour.

A quarterly bonus of £500 for achievement of targets!

*Please note this role does involve manual handling of kegs of alcohol.

Key responsibilities:

Multi-drop deliveries of beer kegs to the hospitality sector.

Working alongside an experienced drivers mate who is there to assist with the handball.

Safely secure goods for transport.

Manoeuvre goods using tail lifts and pump trucks.

Follow manual handling best practice.

Meet scheduled delivery times and route plans.

Follow all site, depot and customer H&S procedures. xjnqpsq

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Ability to work within a team
