Description
Honda XL 1000 Varadero ABS, 2005 model, 30k miles
Selling due to personal circumstances, otherwise I would happily keep it for more adventures. The mileage may still increase slightly as I use it on sunny days until I sell it.
Starts at the push of the button every time, had plenty of servicing in my ownership:
Front brake pads + exhaust seals + fork seals: May 2024 @23k miles
spark plugs & air filter: September 2024 @ 25k miles
oil & filter change + New battery: October 2024 @ 25k miles
Rear brake caliper complete rebuild (new pistons & seals) & new pads + all round brake fluid + coolant change: January 2025 @26k miles
Rear suspension linkage clean, lube and new seals: October 2025 @ 29k miles
The chain was changed at 20k miles, so probably is at half its useful life.
Clean MOT on 11th March 2026, except for the 2 tyres which are getting low. I decided to not change them, to lower the price accordingly, and let you decide when to change them and which tyres to fit.
Some cosmetic blemishes, but bombproof and in a good condition overall. It will take you, a passenger and luggage around the World on a tiny budget.
Full Honda luggage set, heated grips, adjustable screen, ABS, centre stand, 2 keys. I'll throw in a Givi smoked touring screen I have for it.
