1981 Honda CL250SE CT250 Silk Road VERY RARE. CRACKING BIKE!

I’ve been using this as a runaround since bringing it back to life and love it. Good, old fashioned drum brakes and handling. Low, light and a cinch to ride. If you’re interested I recommend you come and have a look. 5-speed with an extra “low” first gear for off-road use.

This is an extremely rare bike with unique, original features. Known as a “farmer’s” bike due to the on and off-road handling.

I am selling so I can find another small bike to keep me busy over the winter and may consider a PX.

Single seat with the original rear rack.
Additional lower 1st gear.
Great 4-valve 250cc engine. Very similar to the XL250 and CB250RS
Mostly original parts with new paint and decals. The carb has been cleaned, serviced and tuned. Fork oil changed, new chain, battery, tyres/tubes and new(ish) rear shocks
Imported from Europe over 30 years ago with the V5 in my name. I have a few old MOTs and a handful of receipts.
These bikes had problems with the electric start so many, like this one, have kick starts installed. The starter motor is still there but not engaging when tried.
Speedo is in KPH equating to 20000 miles. Not bad for a 44 year old bike.
A great bike to ride on or off road.
