HONDA CBX 1000 PRO LINK AN AMAZING CLASSIC
NEW ORIGINAL EXHAUST FITTED BACK IN 2006 !

Carbs were sonically cleaned three years ago at a cost of £1000 PLUS LABOUR .
Runs but does take a little time to warm up , once warm ticks over like a Swiss watch .

First appeared in 1978 and was in the line-up until 1982,Its six-cylinder, 1,047cc engine was the first road bike engine to use the valve system developed for the race bikes in the mid to late 1960s,Mounted across the frame with six carburettors and 24 valves, it was renowned for its smoothness and linear power delivery, Weighing around 500lbs and with 103bhp, the CBX was capable of 130mph and could do a standing quarter mile in 12 seconds.
Its sheer road presence made it an instant classic, The 1981 model was updated with Pro-Link rear suspension, air-adjustable front forks, dual ventilated front brake discs and a sleek fairing and was repositioned in the market as a 'sports touring' bike .
