Description
World war one campaign trunk in good original condition.
White stencil lettering on front to Sgt. W Sowerby. 1st, 4th, Border Regt..
Original paint finishes. Matt black outside cream inside.
Iron strap hinges, lock with key, two lifting handles. Lid edge re-enforced with metal banding. Each corner re-enforced with two metal angle straps.
Trunk material is 30 mm, 1 1/8" thick hardwood. Making it very strong and heavy.
The lid has eight countersunk screw holes for use during transportation.
