Description
Hi,
I am selling a Vintage Parker True Blue Fountain Pen, along with a Parker True Blue Pencil c1930's that I have had for over 40 years and it is time for them both to go to a new home.
Both the fountain pen & pencil are in a used condition for some thing of this age, and overall very good and both items are exactly in the same condition that I bough them in. There are no splits/damage anywhere on either items and the gold bandings are still bright, and on the fountain pen there are a couple of minor marks near the button filler.
The barrel discoloration on the fountain pen is usual with pens where the ink has leaked out at some point but proves it's authenticity as a genuine item, compared to the colour of the cap.
They have not been opened or tampered with and sold as seen.
These Original True Blue are getting rarer and rarer and have become very sought after, especially as only a limited number were made, and even fewer have survived. It is hard to come by a fountain pen, let alone a pencil as well.
The fountain pen measures: L x 5 inches closed and has the engraving: Margaret L Ryan on the barrel (see photos)
The pencil measures: L x 4.75 inches and has the engraving: American Popcorn Company on the barrel (see photos)
If you are a collector of rare fountain pens/pencils and writing ephemera, then these would be ideal to add to your collection as well as being a good investment as prices increase due to rarity.
I am open to sensible offers or swap/exchange for any gold hallmarked jewellery.
Any questions please message me.
These items will be shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery FREE tracked & signed for to anywhere in the UK at my cost, so that all parties have peace of mind.
