Vintage Sound Level Meter by Reten Acoustics Instruments model RA440 - collection is from BD18 Saltaire.

It is an integrating sound level meter IEC 651 Type 2
It has a wide selection of user setting switches and can be calibrated with via a small screwdriver. This can be done by use of a sound level calibrator devise or by use of calibrating it to other known sound level devises. The calibration seems to be good when comparing it to the averages of my other sound meters.
It runs on 2x 9 volt pp3 type batteries.

This is a genuine Vintage sound level meter manufactured in Britain. It comes in it's own hard leather type case with shoulder strap
