Description
A Vintage Retro SET of 3 FLYING (MALLARD) DUCKS by PARKSIDE bought in the mid 1940’. A Set of 3 metal graduated Flying (Mallard) Ducks. Made at Parkside (understood to be by Vulcan Foundry in Lancashire, opened in 1831). Colourful, vibrant paintwork. One small chip to edges of wings on the large and medium birds and some minor flaking on the rear side of the medium bird. The birds are stamped on rear "Parkside" and "Made in England" and Numbered. Otherwise In very good condition throughout, commensurate with age. See photographs.
Dimensions circa - Large Duck is 220mm x 200mm, Medium Duck is 190mm x 180mm and the Small Duck is 135mm x 135mm.
This item comes from a pet and smoke free environment. Please study the photos carefully before purchase.
Due to the small chips, the Set is reduced to £40 (or reasonable & sensible offer). Cash & buyer collect preferred please, but can be by bank transfer. Thanks for looking in the meantime…..
