Vintage Bus Stop Sign Original Double Sided Request Travel Transport Prop

This is an original vintage double sided 'Bus Stop' sign that has a great look. It is a request stop sign, with a number 5 insert denoting the bus number 5 would pass this stop - it has slots to slide in more inserts. It's a fantastic collectors piece, would make a great decorative item for the home or would be a good prop. It is made of a strong composite material that has been painted, with signs of wear including some damage on the one side from when it was attached to a pole. There is some rust on the brackets and bolts that hold the top and bottom together, and one of the brackets where the inserts slide in is loose at the top.There are some age related scratches and marks in places, as well as some discolouring. Approximate measurements are 16 3/4" (42.5cm) tall and 15 1/4" (38.5cm) wide.
