A classic piece of British model railway history! This is a Hornby Dublo 3-rail 'Duchess of Atholl' locomotive, dating from the late 1950s. In good condition for its age, with some expected signs of wear – the paintwork shows some minor chipping, particularly around the buffers. The motor runs, though would benefit from a service to ensure smooth operation, as it has been in storage for some time. A fantastic opportunity to own a piece of Hornby history and a worthwhile project for any serious collector or model railway enthusiast. Comes without its original box.
