RUSSIAN METAL TRAY, COASTER, MATRYOSHKA
VINTAGE EASTERN EUROPE TRADITIONAL HOME DECOR
This lot is composed of beautiful souvenirs from Eastern Europe, perfect for a retro / folk / traditional home decor.
The skillfully hand-painted metal tray was made in the USSR, depicting a flower spray in vibrant white, green and red shades on a black background, with golden accent all around the edge. It is in beautiful condition, and very decorative. Suitable for any room. The tray measures 20..5 by 17.5 cm.
The wood-turned matryoshka has 3 pieces, nicely decorated in a traditional style. There is a label at the base but I cannot read Cyrillic, so I'm afraid I cannot say more. It stands 11.5 cm tall.
The china coaster also features traditional folk motifs, this time from Estonia. It states "Pattern from Muhu, West Estonia" and seems to reproduce folk stitching work with strawberries, leaves, dogwood and daisy flowers on a black background. Very decorative. It can used as a coaster or displayed on a dresser etc. The coaster measures 10..5 in diametre.
Beautiful, decorative and collectable pieces.
All together a perfect set to add a retro touch to your home, as a present for a loved one.
