Description
In the 1980s NatWest bank commissioned Wade to produce a family of five ceramic piggy banks to encourage young savers to open accounts. Woody, Annabel, Maxwell, Lady Hilary and Sir Nathaniel have since become household names and a very collectable.
Each pig is in fantastic condition – no chips whatsoever. There is some very minor discolouring on the bases. Each pif has their original NatWest stopper.
I vaguely remember once having them all on a shelf when I was a child, but it can’t have been for very long, and they were never used to save money. For most of their life they have been boxed up.
