Honeybees nuc of bees from Humble Bee Keepers

Description

We breed from selected Buckfast queens for excellent brood pattern and calm bees. We also stock locally mated queens which are suited to the Northern area. Come on our bee experience and enjoy our lovely bees and get started bee keeping.



We stock Langstroth and National size Nucs in 5 and 6 frame sizes.

We have these available year round to order.



We suggest taking advantage of our bee keeping special equipment offer which includes a full bee suit, gloves, a hive tool and smoker for £75.



*Why not book a 1 to 1 bee keeping lesson where you will learn how to make frames, distinguish between bees, cells and locate the queen in one of our hives. 1 to 1 lessons are usually between 1-2 hours long where you can ask as many questions as you like.



Once your Nuc of bees is ready, we will contact you with a collection date and send an invoice if you have paid a deposit only. The sooner you order the earlier in the season you will receive your Nuc, we aim for April but due to weather May is more usual. Although we can give you an estimate of when you will receive your bees this is subject to change due to various factors, including weather, forage, brood patterns and equipment availability.



*Non refundable deposit retained upon cancellation, but can be used towards equipment or a Nuc for next season.



Some customers use the Nucs to start a new colony once the bees have been moved into a full size hive ending up with two hives in their first season. Other customers just add supers to hives for a little first season honey.

Collection is preferred but Delivery is available at £20.00 using Royal Mail Special Delivery - Please note we cannot accept liability for shipping issues but will work with you should you encounter any problems.
