Description
A very collectible PAUL CARDEW novelty petrol pump teapot in teal blue by South West Ceramics dated 1989.
Having never been used, there are no cracks or chips, but it does show some crazing to the body of the teapot, typical of its age (see photos).
It has the same design features on the front and back of the teapot and the spout (pump handle) is decorated with silver, which was a Paul Cardew special design feature.
Approximate measurements are :
28cm (h) x 21cm (w)
From a smoke and pet free home.
