Description
This is lovely collection for any butterfly lover, car booter or craftsperson, all in excellent condition (except the box is just slightly faded).
The ceramic butterfly is quite striking, measuring 22 cm (across diagonally), 16.5 cm (height, at deepest point), 21 cm (at widest point). On the reverse, there is a "cavity" for which to hang on a wall.
(So far, I have only found one other large ceramic butterfly virtually the same as this, which was online, although slightly different colouring, and it was selling for £45 approximately!)
The complete box of magnetic butterflies comprises of 2 sheets of 12 butterflies, (24, total, in box), with the lid converting to a "display stand" for those wishing to sell at car boots, table-tops or similar. They are equally lovely for collectors to affix to fridge/freezer doors, filing cabinets, metal shelving/light fittings and other magnetic surfaces.
They could also be used by arts and crafts people to convert into brooches, other artistic accessories or decor!
The individual butteflies measure, approximately, 6 cm x 5 cm at their widest and deepest points.
** Please note, I have never removed any of the butterfly magnets, and have left them in their "new" condition and position, but I did photograph the reverse of the card to which they are affixed.
As you can see on the box, a previous owner must have written 99p on the cover, which I assume they had intended to price them individually to sell. The box states that there were originally 48 in the box. I imagine that they were then bought as one whole box, (with 24 remaining), but stored away with the ceramic butterfly and have never been touched since.
The price given is for the whole box with 24 butterflies and the large ceramic butterfly all together.
Grab this bargain today, (as I shall advertise in more than one place if not gone).
