2 x Barkart bark and fungi sculptures by Brian Thorne 36" x 14" wide
For centuries fungi has been overlooked or even avoided due to superstition and follow. This couldn't be further from the truth. They are in fact fantastic sculptures from nature and are true survivors. Barkart captures their natural beauty and recreates it inert forby displaying them on a natural bark (which isn't always the host plant) with added insects butterflies moths and lichens.
has a hanging chain on the back secured by wax glue, very heavy, stunning to look at.
