Description
Hello and welcome to this fixed auction for my Sony DTC-55ES.
It is in full working order, BUT it does have a rewind issue.
This appears to be a common thing on Sony DAT decks, but it does not stop the deck from working as it should.
When you rewind, it will stop with several minutes remaining.
You can 'force' it to rewind to the beginning if you have patience. You just wait for it to stop, then eject, then load, then rewind, and repeat.
If I do this enough times, it will finally reach the beginning.
Maybe a service might sort that out? New belts? But I've absolutely no idea.
I've put a full video where I've connected this Sony DTC-55ES to my Sony TA-F630ESD Amp (also for sale), with a Sony MZ-R37 Minidisc Player, and a Sony TC-158SD tape player (BOTH ARE NOT FOR SALE), so you can see and hear the DAT playing, on YouTube.
They are connected to QAcoustic floor standing speakers (NOT for sale).
It is supplied with its original remote control and Original Instruction Manual.
The DAT tape shown in the machine is NOT included.
No warranty is offered. I am not a company. So no support is offered or given. And no returns are given.
Because of its weight, it's collection only.
Please only purchase if you understand what you are buying.
