Rega Apollo CD Player. Spares or repair - please read.

I bought this CD player new in December 2017 and it’s in generally very good shape with no damage and well looked-after. It played fine until recently but it’s now a bit idiosyncratic, hence the listing as spares or repairs.

Here’s the problem; The Apollo powers up and reads discs ok but from startup the first track will quite often skip, and so will the second. The rest of the disc will play OK. Once the player has “warmed up”, after say 15 minutes, then it’ll play all discs normally from start to finish. Sometimes it plays all tracks normally from the moment it’s powered-up. I have no idea what the issue is and, since I generally use another CDP now, I haven’t investigated it.

It’s worth noting that when it’s playing it sounds terrific.

So, if you can live with the glitches, here’s a chance to have a wonderful sounding Rega Apollo at a great price. Otherwise, this could be a diagnosis and repair project.

Comes with all original packaging and working remote control. The battery cover from the remote is missing.
