Description
Akai4000DS Mk2 stereo reel to reel tape recorder.
Available for collection in person only (no couriers) from the LE67 post code area.
Manufactured in the late 1970's, this machine is in very good condition for its age.
It has been fully tested, serviced and aligned.
The calibration has been reset to the manufacturers service information.
It rerecords and plays very well and all the controls and connectors function correctly.
The reel of new RTM LPR35 (270metres) and the empty spool shown are included with the machine.
The tape has been used for calibration and testing on this machine only.
A demonstration track has been recorded on the tape using this machine.
This is a quarter track stereo machine that records and plays at 3-3/4 and 7-1/2 inches per second. The 7-1/2 IPS capstan sleeve is included.
The previous owner made the glazed front cover shown in the photographs.
This cover is included.
Due to the nature of the machine, it is available for collection in person only (no couriers) from the LE67 post code area.
