• Simple Installation: The Futura black glass electric heater can be installed on any standard home building wall, it can also be floor standing due to the feet supplied. • Energy Saving: The Futura electric heaters for home enables you to set your desired temperature between 5°C to 35°C and with our eco auto open window detection - This is an automatic built-in function which if the room heater detects a sudden drop of 5 degrees or more in room temperature it switches itself off.

• Room Coverage: The integral precision thermostat which is accurate to within half a degree, the convector heater will switch on or off automatically to maintain your set temperature. Coverage up to 12 square metre room. (for example L4m x W3m Approx).

• Bathroom Safe: The Futura electric Heater IP24 rated is safe to be installed in a bathroom thanks to their splash proof design and construction (please make sure the heater is installed by a qualified electrician).

A very smart looking, excellent quality, black glass panel heater. This is a convection heater, so the front panel does not get hot and radiate heat, but they do heat a room quite quickly. As it relies on convected heat, it does stand off the wall by about 9cm to allow hot air to rise above and cooler air to be drawn in from the bottom. Very easy to fit, either wall-mounted or free-standing using the easily attachable feet provided.

The controls are easy to use and the thermostat accurately maintains the set temperature. Other features include a seven-day programmer, a 24-hour timer, an open window setting and a frost guard. These are ideal where you need an efficient speedy heating solution for a cold spot, or single room, and gas or central heating is not a practical option or not available.

At current electricity prices, they cannot be described as “cheap to run” but they are very efficient and, if used sensibly, can actually be fairly economical. Just remember that 1000w of energy is still 1000w whatever type or brand of heater you are using.
