Job DescriptionTenancy Specialist• Hourly Rate: GBP19.68• Location: Fully remote (with required travel to the local office in Haywards Heath to attend training and meetings)• Job Type: Temporary until March 2025

We are seeking three Tenancy Specialists to provide expert guidance and handle cases involving Tenancy Fraud, Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), Domestic Abuse, and legal actions for tenancy enforcement. This role is ideal for individuals who are adept at managing complex cases and working collaboratively with field-based teams to ensure effective resolutions.Day-to-day of the role:• Manage all aspects of tenancy fraud, sub-letting, and Right To Buy (RTB) fraud cases across the region, including conducting investigations or coordinating local investigations.• Handle the effective case management of ASB cases, directing and supporting colleagues with investigations and enforcement actions.• Decide on the most appropriate actions against individuals committing tenancy fraud or perpetrating ASB, and provide support for victims.• Prepare legal files and manage legal action cases for tenancy enforcement and fraud, working with solicitors, process servers, and bailiffs.• Represent the organisation in court for tenancy fraud, ASB, and other tenancy-related legal cases as required.• Manage complex tenancy management cases referred from Customer Support, such as complex successions and end of tenancy reviews.• Liaise with the Police and other partners to gather evidence for fraud and/or criminal proceedings, which may include interviews at police stations or participation in surveillance operations.• Collaborate with internal and external agencies such as Women's Aid, NFI, local authorities, mediation services, solicitors, or support services to ensure a coordinated response.Required Skills & Qualifications:• An excellent understanding of ASB and/or tenancy fraud.• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation in respect to tenancy management, fraud, ASB, and legal disrepair.• Proven experience in investigative interviewing, ideally for fraud and/or ASB.• Excellent investigative, intelligence gathering, and problem-solving skills.• Positive mindset focused on solutions, with the ability to weigh up different views, exercise good judgement, and make decisions.• Confidence to challenge in a positive and constructive manner.• Resilience and adaptability.• Excellent communication skills, able to adapt approach to the audience.• Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation and external agencies.• Proven track record of successful case management with positive outcomes.• Ability to travel across the region and work early mornings or evenings if required to support investigation work.Benefits:• Competitive hourly rate.• Flexible working hours and fully-remote work setup.• Opportunities for role to become permanent based on performance.• Extensive training and professional development opportunities.To apply for the Tenancy Specialist position, please apply online or contact Isobelle, Maxine or Andrea at Reed, Norwich.
