What you will do:

– Participate in the Emergency Duty Team rota, embracing the variety of evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

– Field calls from local authority colleagues, agencies, and the public, assessing and prioritising appropriately.

– Assess risks and needs in emergency situations, implementing swift and effective interventions.

– Liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the best outcomes for service users.

– Maintain precise records and produce high–quality written reports as required.

– Encourage clients to make informed choices, respecting their views and wishes.

– Build strong relationships with clients, families, and carers while respecting privacy and confidentiality.

– Make autonomous decisions in managing your workload while cooperating smoothly with other professionals.

– Provide emotional support and make crucial safeguarding decisions for vulnerable adults and children.

– Contribute to team meetings, training, and supervision sessions to improve practice and service delivery.
