Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Windsor & Maidenhead to recruit for Social Worker in the Adults Mental Health Team. This will be on a permanent basis paying GBP38,192 - GBP42,012 P/Annum + GBP3,000 annual retention bonus.Responsibilities include: Case Load ManagementCompleting reviews and assessmentWorking alongside other agenciesWorking to ensure the protection of vulnerable adultsPromoting service users choices, control and independenceSupporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homesAssessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homesReviewing residential, nursing home or day centre placementsWorking effectively with other professionalsLiaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health ActSafeguarding AdultsSelf-directed support/personal budgets Minimum Requirements: SWE Registration1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industryEnhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)Eligibility to work in the UKA driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means - is essential.
