How Your Skills Transfer Crisis Intervention ? Supporting students during behavioural episodesFamily Systems Knowledge ? Understanding how home life impacts learningAssessment Skills ? Identifying needs behind challenging behavioursAdvocacy Training ? Ensuring every child's voice is heardMulti-agency Experience ? Working with teachers, therapists, and support services

What You'll Do Support children with behavioural difficulties using trauma-informed approachesWork with vulnerable students including looked-after children and those with social services involvementBuild therapeutic relationships with students who've experienced adversityEngage families and connect them with community resourcesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop support plansApply de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour strategies Why Your Background Matters You understand that behaviour is communication. You're trained to see the whole person, not just the diagnosis. You know how inequality and social factors impact development. You're equipped to work with complexity and believe in empowering children and families.

We Want You If: Recent Social Work degree (within 3 years)Passionate about vulnerable children and young peopleWant to use your skills in an educational settingResilient, empathetic, and solution-focusedUnderstand the link between social factors and educational outcomes Ready to Make a Difference?
