We are seeking Multi Trade Operatives to join our clients based in Croydon. This is being recruited on a temporary basis. Prospective Start date: 27th October 2025

Working hours: 40 Hours per week. Location: Croydon, CR0 4TQ.

Overview of the role and objectives:

Multi-Trade Operative - Trades & Operatives Reporting to a Resolve supervisor, the Direct Services Resolve Technician is an essential member of the Reactive Repairs department, working within a dedicated team, providing a comprehensive, efficient, and responsive property maintenance service. As a member of the Resolve Team, the primary focus is providing a high-quality responsive repair service to all residents, internal colleagues, and our partners.

As a Multi Trade Operative:

• Property maintenance & repairs: Proven ability to carry out reactive repairs across various trades (e.g. Plumbing, carpentry, electrical, plastering, decorating, etc)

• Diagnosis & problem-solving: Skilled in identifying faults quickly and determining appropriate repair methods.

• Health & safety compliance: Understanding of H&S regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices.

• Use of tools & equipment: Competent with both hand tools and power tools relevant to property repairs.

• Basic IT/mobile systems: Ability to use handheld devices or job management systems for logging jobs, updating progress, and communicating with supervisors.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in property maintenance or a similar reactive repairs environment.

Competence in at least one core trade (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, plastering, electrical, decorating, etc.), with multi-trade ability desirable.

Demonstrated experience delivering a high-quality, customer-focused repair service.

Understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.

Experience using handheld devices or job management systems to receive, update, and close work orders

Salary and location: Pay £18.22 per hour

Working hours: 40 hours per week.
