Join Us as a Mental Health Support Worker
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives through social care?
We're looking for a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Midworth Street, a supported living project in Mansfield town centre.
This role is all about empowering individuals with mental health conditions and additional complex needs, such as substance misuse or distress behaviours, to live independently, make informed choices, and enjoy fulfilling lives. We use a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to support each person's journey.

About the Service
Midworth Street offers supported living for up to 2-4 years, helping people build the skills and confidence to move on. We also provide outreach support to individuals living in their own homes in and around Mansfield.
This is a 24-hour service, operating 7 days a week. Shifts include:
7:00am - 2:30pm2:30pm - 10:00pm10:00pm - 7:00am (waking nights)
Weekend availability is essential. The project is accessible via public transport, but you'll need to be able to get to the site for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
What You'll Do
As a Support Worker, you'll play a key role in helping individuals grow and succeed. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing face-to-face support tailored to each person's needsSupporting service users with tenancy management and home carePromoting daily living skills, budgeting, and wellbeingWriting and reviewing detailed risk assessmentsBuilding strong relationships with families, social workers, and other professionalsAdministering medication, following safeguarding procedures, legislation, and health & safety standardsMaintaining accurate records using IT systems (basic IT skills required)
