Mental Health Support Worker – Full-Time

Location: Brighton

Salary: £13.25 per hour

Hours: Full-Time

We are recruiting Mental Health Support Workers to join an 80-bedded nursing home in Brighton, which has recently opened a new 18-bedded mental health unit. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join a growing service with a strong focus on person-centred mental health care.

This role is well suited to a Mental Health Support Worker looking for a stable, full-time position within a supportive and well-structured environment.

The role

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will support adults with a range of mental health needs, helping them to live as independently as possible while maintaining dignity and respect. You will work closely with the wider clinical team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Key responsibilities

Provide person-centred support to residents within the mental health unit

*

Assist with daily living activities and promote independence

*

Support care plans and report changes in mental health or wellbeing

*

Work collaboratively with nurses, clinicians, and other Mental Health Support Workers

*

Help maintain a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment

Requirements

*

Previous experience working as a Mental Health Support Worker is essential

*

Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
