Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award–winning recruitment agency, is currently seeking an Interim Head of Integrated Care (Adult Social Care) to join a local authority in Norwich.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to provide strategic and operational direction across the East and South Place. This is a pivotal role focused on driving excellence within Adult Social Care services and ensuring high–quality, person–centred outcomes for the local population.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic and operational leadership across integrated care services.Oversee performance management, service improvement, and budget control.Lead and motivate multi–disciplinary teams to deliver effective and compliant services.Ensure alignment with statutory responsibilities, local policies, and safeguarding legislation.Drive partnership working across health and social care systems to support integration and collaboration.Work closely with senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners to improve outcomes for individuals and communities. Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven track record of managing complex social care or integrated services at a senior level.Strong leadership, communication, and decision–making skills.Experience in performance management, budget oversight, and service transformation.In–depth understanding of adult social care frameworks and safeguarding requirements.Ability to build strong partnerships across health and social care systems.Resilience, professional judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
