Community Care Worker - Launceston
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to join our growing team in Launceston . In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support to individuals within their own homes, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
Providing personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and hygiene
Supporting clients with domestic tasks, shopping, and outreach
Promoting mobility using appropriate moving and handling techniques
Adhering to all health and safety requirements
Encouraging independence and empowering clients to live comfortably
Assisting with medication in line with care plans
Preparing and prompting meals to ensure nutritional wellbeing
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records
Communicating professionally with clients, families, and team members
Requirements
Previous experience in social care is desirable but not essential
An understanding of dementia care is advantageous (full training provided)
A caring nature and excellent interpersonal skills
A valid UK driving licence is essential
Full training provided - no prior experience required
Salary
Level 1 Care Worker - GBP13.50/hour Bank Holiday - GBP15.50/hour
Level 2 Care Worker - GBP13.75/hour Bank Holiday - GBP15.75/hour
Level 3 Care Worker - GBP14.00/hour Bank Holiday - GBP16.00/hour
